The Healthy Living Blog

Here is the Healthy Living Challenge blog. Feel free to add recipes, tips, ideas etc. Tomorrow I'll invite participants to be authors on the blog so you can create posts like this one. I'm planning on posting my favorite healthy salad dressing recipe soon - it helps getting those 3 servings of veggies a little easier! -Sarah

Thanks, Sarah, for putting this blog together.

The main reason I asked Sarah to do the blog is so that when Challengers have questions, you can go here to refresh your memory, especially since many of you have the same great questions. Because...while I love you all and really like e-mailing you, I just run out of time to answer all your e-mails.

Additionally, I agree that it's a great place to post recipes or exercise tips or anything else that keeps you going on the Challenge!

Great idea. Thanks Sarah, wherever and whoever you may be.
I do have one tip that helps on occasion. . . Juicy Juice puts out a drink that has 100% veggie mixed with 100% juice that tastes pretty good. Similar to the V8 brand/idea, this one is a bit cheaper. -Natalee

I was just going to say, that on those days when things are a little crazy, a small can of V8 (5.5 fl oz) is a FULL serving of veggies!! This helps me out a lot. Of course, you do have to be able to stomach drinking your veggies!! ;)

Thanks for putting this together Sarah!
I'll have to start a separate post with my running list of "is this okay" questions, namely, eating air-popped popcorn as a "healthy snack" (not bag microwave popcorn) and drinking sugar-free lite hot chocolate . . . although I'm not positive I want to know the answer.
